Eastman George and Kodak

On September 4, 1888, Eastman Kodak came to register the brand, which is drawn up based on his favorite letters, and received a patent for his camera which uses roll film. In this came the phrase "You press the button, We do the rest".

Camera costs 25 U.S. Dollars he found, can be used to take 100 pictures with a film roll. Then, the user provides rolling film to Kodak for processing. These services were valued at five dollars.

Eastman helped support the founding of the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester, led by Alfred Klingenberg.

In 1925, Eastman took off the daily management of Kodak, and occupied the presidency. After the MSA, he focuses its activities on charitable activities.
